ADAM Audio T7V Studio Monitor
DESCRIPTION
The award-winning, ADAM Audio T7V is a high-performance home and studio monitor, with great low-end and an exceptionally wide sweet spot that comes at an extremely affordable price point.
Intricately designed to be long lasting and professional sounding, the two-way nearfield monitor is equipped with ADAM Audio’s U-ART accelerated ribbon tweeter, and calibrated using the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide, giving it the utmost of clarity. It is this custom-made technology that can also be found in ADAM’s flagship S Series studio monitors, that gives the monitors an extended high-frequency response of up to 25 kHz, which is unheard of at this price range.
The T7V also comes with new DSP technology and is powered with two D-Class amplifiers, one that controls the subwoofer at 50 watts, and the other the tweeter at 20 watts, producing SPLs of up to 110 dB SPL per pair. It’s these detailed features, along with the U-ART tweeter that give the T7V such low frequencies and unprecedented detail.
On the rear side of the T7V, a rear-firing bass reflex port is responsible for giving the speaker its ultra-smooth, highly accurate midrange and extended bass response. Here on the back you can also find an input selector for desired sensitivity, and additional XLR and RCA inputs.
When compared to the ADAM Audio T5V, the T7V’s larger 7" polypropylene woofer really sets the two monitors apart. Along with having a higher SPL of 110 dB, the larger woofer gives the T7V a much larger audio-impact. Adding to that the larger cabinet, standing 347mm tall, the T7V is very much the larger brother to its T5V counterpart. Should you need more bottom end, the T5V is compatible with the ADAM Audio T10S subwoofer.
With its simple elegant design, and compact size, the ADAM Audio T7V is a perfect fit for when space is a consideration, without having to make a compromise on professional sound. The T7V is a no gimmicks monitor, with the highest of audio reproduction qualities, and an extremely entry-level price.
